A Lifetime Dream
We're sort of celebrating...
we revealed this beautiful project to you
about a year ago now and we thought
it was well worth another look!
Our clients "dream come true" was the making
of decades of their own hard work
and planning for this season in their lives.
Now they enjoy a dream coastal retreat
including lots of gatherings
with family and friends.
Last year, as we walked through
the big "reveal" with them,
they said they could see themselves
spending time in every space in the house
and immediately having
the feeling of "home".
The functionality of each area
was as clear as its beauty
and everything felt REALLY comfortable.
From the large chef's kitchen to dining space for 10,
from the amazing new deck overlooking the bay
that runs the entire length of the home
to the soft leather recliners for relaxing in,
from the double sofa layout in the living room
to the second floor gathering "hangout"
with beautifully tiled wet bar...
this place has it all!
Our client's recalled the experience
they had of finding the home,
having the vision for its complete transformation,
and everything that would offer them
going forward.
And then the serendipity of finding a contractor
that was right next door working
when they called him
to begin a conversation
about their own renovation project!
You just can't
make this stuff up!
She also shared how nervous she felt
before the final reveal we were having,
second guessing the hundreds of decisions
that had to be made in order to see
their renovation project to completion...
space planning, flooring, fixtures,
hardware, furnishings, fabrics,
and so much more.
As she walked through her new home,
she touched and sat in everything...
"layered neutrals with splashes of color,
mixed materials and textures..."
while thinking about what they'd had to do.
Yet all of the details came together
while having our guidance, feedback,
and thought with intentionality
allowing them all along the way
to get everything just right!
They both shared their deep appreciation
along with many many hugs...
and yes, of course, there were
happy tears from all of us!
How fortunate we are to assist in
creating beautiful intentional spaces like these
and bringing a deep feeling of home
to our clients from day one.
It's our dream come true too!
