A Lakeside Project Revisited
As we slip between seasons now,
it's a good time to revisit this lakeside project
that comfortably spans all seasons.
A great getaway any time of year!

In these new Owner's Quarters,
we focused on livability and functionality
in designing all of the spaces
above the lower garage area
while highlighting the homeowner's
own personal style.
There's also an original camp we completed
on the property as a separate project
where we were very careful to
maintain its more rustic elements
while updating the furnishings
and some other elements.
To create an overall updated classic feeling,
we used a fresh mix of traditional elements.
Shades of green and wood tones
bring the outdoors right in and create
a warm and soothing environment
for the owners to enjoy.
Green kitchen cabinets were discussed
early on in our process for the project,
giving us a clear vision of the space.
Marble-look white quartz countertops provide
durability with plenty of worry-free use.
Clean lines and plenty of space.
Classic style elements work together throughout...
shiplap, wide plank flooring, rich white walls
(Simply White, Benjamin Moore),
green accent walls, and hand hewn wood beams...
all layered with mixed materials, textures
and pops of pattern and color...
all enhanced by the
irresistible views to the lake!
The homeowners have ended up with
a warm and inviting space
with the open airy look they wanted,
easily livable and comfortable
for all the family entertaining they do.
Truly a Maine retreat!
